MAGA is Making Eugenics Great Again

“Jesus went to dine at the home of one of the great Pharisees, and the people there were observing him carefully. He told a parable to” them about “how they were choosing the places of greatness at the table.” He concluded his parable describing their dehumanizing supremacy by sharing wisdom about communion, “He said to them, ‘When you hold a meal, do not invite your friends or your relatives or your wealthy neighbors.” “Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.

Self-titled Christians went to dine at the home of one of the great eugenicists, and they were observing others carefully. As believers in eugenics, they were choosing the places of greatness for themselves across the land, while they were observing in others inferiority. Eugenics, means “good stock, having good genes.” Eugenicists are great supremacists who believe in breeding for greatness while dehumanizing the ‘unfit;’ institutionalizing, aborting, imprisoning them. The supremacists were initially dining at the home of the great eugenicists of The Galton Society. It became The American Eugenics Society which had its Nazi sympathizers. It was members of these great eugenics societies who founded Planned Parenthood; Harry H. Loughlin, Lothrop Stoddard (also a member of the KKK), Margaret Sanger, Alan Guttmacher. They strategized the promotion of harmful sterilization programs for inferior people whom the great ones judged to have bad genes. That meant they dehumanized, devalued, and destroyed people Jesus would have blended in with quite well – other dark-skinned people, including immigrants. The eugenicists also strategized the promotion of their recently invented white supremacist race science. That meant these great ones also dehumanized, devalued, and destroyed people Jesus teaches us to include for communion – “the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.” Self-titled Christians continue to dine at the home of one of the great eugenicists, Donald Trump. Too, these MAGA eugenicists continue to choose places of greatness for themselves while they dehumanize, devalue, and destroy ‘inferior’ people, for example, people with disabilities. Recently, in 225 towns across the U.S., including in the Trump Tower lobby, disability activists protested cuts to disability services and to Medicaid. They were part of the Families First National Day of Action that was coordinated for the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act and the 60th anniversary of Medicaid. The great Trump/MAGA eugenics cohort did not invite into communion “the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.” Instead, Trump had them arrested. A fitting response by the great eugenicist Trump: “You know, the racehorse theory, there is something to the genes. And I mean, when I say something, I mean a lot;” “Immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country;” “I believe this, it’s in their genes. And we’ve got a lot of bad genes in our country right now;” Looking out at a rally and seeing a white crowd, he said, “You have good genes, you know that, right? You have good genes.” Trump, like all eugenicists is a supremacist sociopath. He believes everyone is inferior to him and he will dehumanize, devalue, and destroy us all.

“They say let’s make it great again. They say they are American but I don’t think it’s true… I’ve seen immigrants struggling… so they can work to buy their own home and start a little business… I’ve seen liars spouting off about family values but they do not know what real families value. I’ve seen single moms struggling to escape the shame of that so-called welfare state (while they’re) working, going to school, and still making it home to spend time with (their) kids. I’ve seen strangers helping strangers… I do not believe in your America… lying about trying to make it great while you’re just creating hate… (Let’s) start over as a world of friends and kin hand and hand… Till we can all feel connected, and do the unexpected. Let’s make humanity great again.” (Great Again – Graff)

Prayer: Beautiful Spirit, your beauty lives in all of us.

Question: Who are the dehumanized people I need to reach out to and share a meal?
